Dancing to the Beat of the Film Dance of the Dead
The film "Dance of the Dead" starts very quickly, leaving nothing to the imagination as an unlikely group of heroes must band together to destroy an army of zombies set on wrecking their town and their high school prom. The spark that sets the fire in the quiet little town of Cosa Valley, Georgia is the classic mistake of having a graveyard placed next to a nuclear power plant, and in no time the town is under attack.
Our group of zombie-killing-heroes truly unique and motley bunch. The young band of heroes is lead by class-clown, Jimmy, who is also the on-again-off-again boyfriend of the Student Council's Vice-President, Lindsey, whose power is her strength in putting up with her clueless boyfriend. The group also includes Jules, President of the Sci-Fi club and Stephen, the school geek that has a secret and unbearable crush on another member of the group, Gwen, the popular cheerleader that has lost her date to the prom due to bad spinach. The bad-boys of this zombie-fighting-force are Kyle, the school bully that sports a mohawk and clearly knows a thing-or-two about guns, and Coach Keel, the insane gym coach that has had military training. Lastly, the group features the heartthrob singer, guitarist, and front man to a rock band, Nash Rambler.
In this film zombies not only threaten humankind, but they also drive cars, which serves to help the rotted flesh eaters pursue and catch their meals a lot quicker than if they were on-foot.
